Airalo review — coming soon
Our long-form review of Airalo — the largest global travel eSIM marketplace — is in testing. This page previews what the published review will cover. It is intentionally noindex so it doesn't compete with the eventual review in search results.
Why we're reviewing Airalo
Airalo is the mainstream point of comparison for any travel-eSIM review. We're benchmarking it against the Crypton Travel eSIM to show readers how the privacy-first option differs from the mass-market leader on coverage, price-per-GB and checkout friction.
What we'll test
- Coverage and country list — claimed vs actual on-network experience.
- Activation time (iOS and Android) on the same handset, same SSID.
- Average download speed in three reference markets compared to a local incumbent eSIM.
- Pricing per GB across single-country, regional and global packs.
- Checkout flow — what email/phone/payment information is required.
- Top-up flow and the per-MB economics when a pack runs out.
- Refund and cancellation behaviour on unactivated packs.
- Customer support response time on a real ticket.
