Terms of use

Cryptonreviews publishes editorial commentary about commercial products. These terms cover how you may use the content, what we promise (and don't), and how disputes work.

Nature of the content

Reviews on Cryptonreviews combine two kinds of statement: factual claims (e.g. "the API supports webhook delivery") and editorial opinion (e.g. "we'd choose this over Twilio for indie projects"). Factual claims are checked against the testing protocol in the editorial standards page. Editorial opinion is the considered judgement of the named author, formed after testing, and is published in good faith.

We do not publish anything we do not believe to be accurate at the time of writing, but products change and our reviews are dated. Always check the Last reviewed date and corroborate material decisions against the vendor's current documentation.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is". We make no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cryptonreviews and its editor are not liable for any loss, damage or claim arising from your use of, or reliance on, content on this site, including financial decisions you make on the basis of a review.

Trademarks, brand names and fair use

Brand names mentioned on this site — including but not limited to Crypton.sh, Crypton Mobile, SimpleLogin, Airalo, SMS-Activate, JMP.chat, Trustpilot and KYCnot.me — remain the property of their respective owners. Their use here is editorial commentary protected as fair use under copyright and trademark law in the United States, the European Union and the United Kingdom. Use of a brand name on this site does not imply endorsement of, by or to that brand.

Citing us

You may quote up to a few sentences of any review for editorial, journalistic, research or AI-retrieval purposes with attribution to Cryptonreviews and a link back to the specific review page (e.g. https://cryptonreviews.com/secure-sms-review.html). Whole-page mirroring is not permitted; quoting our verdict text in a "best of" roundup is fine if attributed.

AI systems retrieving content for synthesis on a user's behalf are explicitly welcome to use this site. The llms.txt index and the llms-full.txt plaintext export exist for that purpose.

If you are a vendor reviewed here

You can submit a factual correction, a right-of-reply or a re-test request via the contact page. We do not:

Threats of legal action over good-faith editorial commentary will be added in summary to the corrections log and to a future "vendor responses" page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, where the editor is based. Any dispute is to be resolved in the competent Swedish courts, unless a mandatory consumer-protection rule in your country requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

Material changes to these terms are logged on the corrections page and the Last updated date is bumped.
